About us
Hanaim Community Tutorial Program (HCTP) is offered by Hanaim Church, which is a non-denominational church located in Elmwood Park, NJ.
“Hanaim”, with its roots in the Bible, means togetherness in Korean. We believe that all of us need to learn to live together embracing, respecting and valuing others as they are without judging them based on race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or any other characteristics.
HCTP is part of our effort to serve the communities that we live in, particularly children, who are our future.
Our Mission
HCTP aims to provide all children and youth in Elmwood Park, Paterson and neighboring communities with access to academic, social, and emotional support:
To realize their rights to education
To help find and harness their strengths and talents
To empower them with purpose and encourage them to care for others
To inspire and enable them to become active citizens in shaping a better world
Now
HCTP offers SAT prep courses, a summer camp, and after-school enrichment classes. Please visit relevant sections of our website for details.
Future
HCTP plans to offer free college counseling.
